Wintertusk has nearly the exact same damage as ww, but lower in resistance. Many people didn't upgrade their Waterworks since farming Tartarus was a pain to farm with a full team. Hades Gear is not that good in defense.

WW gear does not carry the block that is required in Avalon. You might be able to make that up with a wand, crafted ring and athame, but I think you will need to craft the block boots to be safe. My Death wiz has crafted the whole Avalon gear set, including hat, robe, boots, ring and athame.So basically only lucky people and extreme players can get this gear.
